Job Description

**Medical Device Assembler I - 1st Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembler I who will be responsible for assembling and testing medical devices using a variety of tools, fixtures, and test equipment. This role is a 12-18 month contract requiring candidates to be flexible with working hours including weekdays and Saturdays as needed. **Responsibilities** + Understand and follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. + Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Quality System. + Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Project Engineer or Supervisor. + Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed. + Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with microscopes for small part assembly. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to work with small parts, specifically catheters. + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 6 months of high-volume small part assembly experience with a microscope. + Ability to work with a microscope 90% of the shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in medical device assembly. + Cleanroom experience is preferred. + Proficiency with hand tools, measuring tools like calipers and micrometers. + Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company that offers a great work environment and culture. The standard shift is from 6:00am-2:30pm, but flexibility to start as early as 5:00am and work until 3:30pm is required. The dress code is typical of a cleanroom environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
