Job Description



Fairmont Olympic Hotel is seeking a talented and innovative Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital and social media initiatives. If you have a proven record of accomplishment in digital marketing, a flair for creativity, and a desire to make a significant impact in the hospitality industry, we invite you to be part of our journey!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Management: Support the Director of Marketing with all digital marketing strategies.
  • Website Management / CMS Management: Manage the hotel's websites, and two additional outlet restaurant websites ensuring a seamless user experience, optimizing for conversions, and implementing SEO and visual content with strategy supported by the Director of Marketing.
  • Social Media Management: Manage, schedule and enhance the hotel's presence on various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, engaging with the audience and fostering brand loyalty and scheduling out the content calendar with posts and stories. Facilitate influencer stays – after the Director of marketing has vetted them and coordinate their reservation, alert and agreement forms.
  • Content Creation: Manage content development across digital platforms, including social media, seasonal website transitions with photography and videography vendors.
  • Email Marketing: Support the deployment process of monthly email-marketing campaigns, targeted messaging to drive customer engagement and conversions through eblasts.
  • Monthly Analytics and Reporting: Monitor digital marketing performance, analyze data, and generate regular reports to assess ROI and optimize strategies for improved results and track the KPI’s into a monthly report.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Collateral: Support the sales and catering teams and hotel operations with creating flyers, sales incentive sheets and signage through Canva.

Qualifications



Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous CMS experience with websites is required
  • Previous Social Media management experience is required
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and other relevant computer applications required
  • Hospitality experience preferred
  • Graphic design experience (Canva or other software programs) is a plus
  • Photography skills and experience with photoshoots and content creation is a plus
  • University/College degree in a related discipline is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms, tools, and techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and email marketing
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
