Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our growing team in Baton Rouge, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the internal and external communication strategies of the company, ensuring consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement communication strategies that align with company goals
Draft, edit, and distribute internal announcements, newsletters, press releases, and reports
Assist in the planning and execution of company events and presentations
Maintain communication calendars and ensure timely delivery of content
Support crisis communication planning and execution when needed
Monitor and report on communication performance metrics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure message alignment and clarity
Ensure all communications adhere to company brand and tone guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a communications-related role
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project coordination tools
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
